Our client had a clear sustainability and energy cost reduction objective. To significantly improve their energy efficiency, they needed to monitor and analyse electricity consumption data from hundreds of meters.
However, analysing and monitoring hundreds of electrical meters was a daunting task for the Energy team. To be monitored, the data needed to be downloaded in CSV format and manually cleaned. The team then had to aggregate this data into heavy Excel spreadsheets that were difficult to manage. Also, frequently updated analysis was not possible without a software that could continuously collect, clean, and analyse all the data coming from the sensors.
With the adoption of Scops, all the electrical meters data are now converging to a single platform that automates the data preparation and allows continuous monitoring with logical rules and A.I.-driven anomaly detection algorithms. Also, the Energy manager can now investigate electricity consumption through interactive dashboards in which data can be aggregated or dissected meticulously.
Thanks to Scops’ data analysis features, our client is now able to timely identify anomalous energy consumptions and take action to prevent possible problems, thus improving efficiency and reducing costs. In fact, data-driven field intervention allowed energy saving for more than 10% of the previous year budget.
