Overview
Our client aimed at minimizing plant downtime through a Data-Driven approach in machines maintenance. Unfortunately, data were scattered across different databases, and data preparation and analysis was conducted manually. These problems were preventing any Data-Driven activity aimed at anticipating machinery failures.
Scops allowed data aggregation and continuous anomaly detection monitoring in one single solution. The maintenance team has now easy accessibility to machine-specific data, and Scops algorithms are helping them to keep under control any anomalous trend or behaviour 24/7.
As a practical example, Scops has allowed our client to identify and anticipate the malfunctioning of an industrial compressor that was key for the plant. In fact, after the alert message sent by Scops, the maintenance team was able to identify the mechanical problem and prevent the machine failure. The team intervention avoided one day of the plant downtime and maintenance savings of more than 5000 euros.
